The world today is seeing a lot more rocket development and launch as compare to what we have witnessed in the previous decades. More and more countries are launching their satellites in to space, making it difficult for space agencies to keep up with the demand. This has resulted in bringing private players in to the business or rocket launch and some have even went beyond and put humans in to space.
This year by end of March, more than 60 rockets were launched in to space. The year 2025 saw approximately 330 rocket launches making it almost 1 rocket per day barring national holidays. While these rockets not necessarily always carry humans in to space, they often carry more than one satellites to put in to orbit. With Starlink network of satellites and nanosats, cube-sats etc combined together, more than 1000 satellites were launched in to space.
